I am little bit late this month, but I believe that I will be forgiven. I have been on the weekend trip and visited some amazing places hidden in the deep forest in Poland - some pictures will soon follow :)
So, currently flowering in my garden: rose "Parade", climber, growing up to 3 meters.

... and the little guy in the left down corner posing to the picture....For those, who are not familiar with the Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day, I would like to say, that this is the tradition started by Carol at May Dreams Gardens. On 15th of each month participants, which are gardeners around the world, are posting pictures of flowers blooming in their gardens exactly on that day.....

Oh, such an elegant garden!
ReplyDeleteAnd I envy you peonies - I love them but most often live in climates in which they do not grow. Which poses a problem when I want to use my Finnish glass place setting for twelve ( a wedding gift from the Finnish part of my late spouse's family): 50 plates & 50 bowls in different sizes + about as many glasses, all depicting peony flowers in different stages of bloom - from tiny buds on vodka glasses to fully developed huge blooms on serving plates... Why? Because I either have to spend a small fortune to order from far away live peonies in all of their colors to go with my peony "china"... or substitute other flowers... which defeats the purpose of having a peony "china" i the first place :-(((
