You are supposed to grow from top, stupid! Not from the side!
This not obedient seedling comes from organic seed of magnificent heirloom French pumpkin Galeuse d'Eysines, which is dated to 1883. I still have some of them to swap.
If you are interested, let me know what would you like to swap :)

Witaj Katarzyna!
ReplyDeleteThat's fantastic. It just decided to go its own way.
ReplyDeleteThat's weird! It looks like your pumpkin wants to go sideways. I have native pumpkins in my garden. I wish I can swap mine to you but I'm in the pacific side of the world.
ReplyDeleteYour pumpkin grew up strong and stubborn. lol! :-D I have two theories for that. First, it sensed that it's a lot harder growing upward so it decided to go sideways. Second, there might be a rock somewhere then it was forced to grow sideways.
ReplyDeleteNoemi, LOL, no rocks there :)
ReplyDeleteThis is really great! A very nice idea.
ReplyDeleteThat's very weird, but interesting!
ReplyDeleteThis pumpkin is a strong one. It looks like it wants to climb early. Anyway, I have 5 pumpkin plants in my garden and I'm waiting for the fruits to get ripe for harvest.
