(Did you see those hard wood pics I posted for you at the end of that post??) I will try to take this into account. I do prune twice a year, mostly after, as you say, the bees have no interest in visiting. Right now I'm enjoying TONS of honeybees, bumblebees Kathryn/plantwhateverbringsyoujoy.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3138030898546469752.post-10025523387650451842010-07-24T16:16:00.468+02:002010-07-24T16:16:00.468+02:00Thank you for the good information. That one seems to take the humidity here better than lavender.
Thanks again!
ElizabethElizabeth Barrowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09958071577234094405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3138030898546469752.post-83032207357369778622010-07-24T06:10:15.838+02:002010-07-24T06:10:15.838+02:00Nicole - in your Carnnean garden you have so many ...Nicole - in your Carnnean garden you have so many wonderful plants we can't grow :)Ewahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02460827662984311538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3138030898546469752.post-1554623585070021832010-07-24T06:08:02.582+02:002010-07-24T06:08:02.582+02:00Laura - I've pruned many times on the hard woo...Laura - I've pruned many times on the hard wood - lavender seems to not be disturbed buy that, 1 month later there were new shots from branches' lowest parts. However these were 3-4 years old shrubs. When the plant is older it's better to do it partially - not one spring everything.Ewahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02460827662984311538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3138030898546469752.post-51093198672925312382010-07-23T23:32:21.350+02:002010-07-23T23:32:21.350+02:00glad you posted this as had a recent discussion wi...glad you posted this as had a recent discussion with fellow gardener about this.
