Maybe you also have an old wheelbarrow?
Do you mind recycling?

I have three old wheelbarrows in my gardens with plants and flowers in them...the one you have shared is adorable! Is that you in the bottom left of your header picture? So, so pretty!

That is a wonderful idea. I love reusing things for gardening. Anything that holds dirt. LOL! That is a great wooded wheelbarrow.

Hello, I'm new to your blog.

I just read the previous post about making plant supports out of twigs. I love the idea. How did you do it?

I live by myself and do exactly this kind of thing for the winter veggies: I just stick a stand right in the middle of the patio with a bunch of 8 inch pots covering the entire thing. Its perfect for me, and come summertime I just pack it up in the attic to use the patio space.

I think this is a very good idea...why didn't I think of it. I have only a cement patio to grow things on...a wheelbarrow would be perfect. In the brutal heat of the summer I could wheel it under the little tree behind my patio so plants would have a rest from the sun.

Hi, Ewa! I think the idea is charming. It reminds us that we really can pack a punch in a small space. My post this week features a small "spiral garden" based on similar principle. The woman who suggested it had in mind to use for plants we can use for dye, but a vitamin laden batch is also very useful! The Vitamin Patch!
