I love these metal roosters as garden or home decorations and I'd love to buy one, but I can't decide which one. Maybe you can help?
The first one is bigger (about 24 in/60 cm) and more expensive ($130), but it has space inside where you can light the candle/tealight.
The second one is little less tall (about 18 in/50 cm), less wide, no possibility to light the candles inside, but it's cheaper ($33).
Which one you prefer?
I know roosters can turn their heads, but this one would bother me because his feet are facing forward and it looks like his head is on backwards. JMHO.

Flowerlady, you are perfectly right. I felt something is wrong with the bigger one, but I couldn't tell the reason, which you spotted immediately!
ReplyDeleteI actually prefer the second one...much cheaper too...and nicer.
ReplyDeleteFunny you should post about roosters today. I bought a metal one yesterday. Mine is painted. I didn't buy a bigger one because the colors of the one I did buy were prettier, I thought. I must have made a good choice, the cat was rubbing against him this morning in approval.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the others.
I like anything small, especially if they are inexpensive :) Good luck Ewa, which ever you choose, I know you will like it.
ReplyDeleteI like the second one too. He looks like a rooster should look, as if he's very proud of himself.
ReplyDeleteI like the second one too. The proportions are wrong for the first rooster. The second one has those long legs that roosters typically have, and his body shape is better too. Not to mention, he's a bargain, and cute too!
ReplyDeleteI love candles, so I would go for that one!
ReplyDeleteLovely porches, very inspiring :-)
Have a nice weekend!

Thank you so much for all comments! It's heartwarming to read it.

I too prefer the shape and design of the second one the best.
