Golden Autumn

Photobucket
If you come to Warsaw, you need to visit Lazienki - the old king's park. Designed with great imagination, including palace on the water. I want to show it now, because trees get the most intense colors right now.
Today I will show you just a little piece of it... lets go...

Photobucket
The oak tree remembers the king and his lovers pottering around...

Photobucket
It is hight and wide...

Sunny days like this nourish the soul...

Photobucket
...gold, gold everywhere...

... swans got bigger than usual...

... but pancakes smaller than usuall... however very yummy, especially after looooooooooooooooooooooooooong walk. It was about 4 hours...

Does anybody know where time goes?

Hi Ewa, I love the thought of the trees remembering the king and his antics, wonderful. The swan and pancakes round off a fabulous walk, especially the pancakes, they are pretty enough to eat. ;->

I liked your ghost story too. ;->

This type of weather is wonderful. The sun fills the soul with its golden rays. I like the idea of trees remembering who was around them in the past. I wonder what kind of tales the trees could tell.

Amazing as always Ewa. When do the books come out and where do we buy them! You do a great job of story telling and illustration.

We even have a few oaks (macrocarpa) here in Central Saskatchewan but they sure do not reach that high!

We make a corn meal pancake which is my favourite. But I could be swayed!

Your inspiring walks through Warszaw amaze me all over again each time I decide to take a walk with you. I spent an equally wonderful autumn day in the Botanical garden yesterday but still not sure where time goes, for when I'm there, the air is filled with eternity. That same eternity I can see in all of your lovely photos. Thanks for the Ghostly meme, I will be back with my eerie post as soon as I find out the answer to your time question ;-)

Was it really 4 hours that walk we took through this beautiful golden park? How time flies when you are having fun. It was nice to go on a walk with you but next time please don't eat all the pancakes, leave some for me too. ;-)
