We are drowning - Gardeners unite!

That is the name of the campaign by Green Korea United (South Korea) for awareness of global warming effect. Authors Daehong Communications in Seoul.

I found it very appealing and awakening the imagination, so I share it with you. Can you see the humans' face and hand?
It is very dramatic - isn't it?

Full headline "We are drowning - rescue us from global effect".

Every one of us can help in stopping the process - right?
This weekend I will make the review of my own 'ecology status' to see how can I improve it :)
Will You?
This way I would like to start with you the new tradition of regular review of what we gardeners are doing in order to make the footprint smaller.
This is international - me from Poland, inspired by campaign made in Korea :) And you - potential contributors, spread wide in the globe :)
Let's look for ideas. Every one who will make a post about it, please leave the message here.
Let's put deadline for that and it will be 15th of April.
I will wrap all OUR ideas to a Green Gardening Guidelines to all fellow gardeners who are looking for ideas how to make their gardening more green :)
How FUN and IMPORTANT sounds that?

Global warming is something that I think about a lot as I live on land that is already several meters below sea level.

I think your idea is lovely, count me in!

Ewa I like this idea. I was raised by environmentally-conscious parents and have always been a 'green' gardener!

The pictures are very dramatic.

Loved this post and picked up the idea blogging about it today, sharing my philosophy of fighting global warming and helping the environment.
Great idea, Ewa!

I've been a pretty green gardener for a lot of years, but there's always something new to learn. I'll look forward to this and see what people come up with!

Sure count me in Ewa..
I have never used any pestizides in our garden, have two large composter for leafs and kitchen scraps. I have asked my neighbours to stop using weed killers, but use natural, environmentally-friendly, eco-products that are good for all of us and the environment!
cheers Gisela
Have a wonderful Easter holiday.

Amazing photography. We should all be responsible for our time here on earth. Going green is so important.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you visit again soon.

Hope it's not too late for us to join in. We try and make the right decisions for the wildlife here and the earth, sea and air, but sometimes the information is conflicting. It will be interesting to see how others handle this dilemma. Thanks for leading us!

Hallo Ewa, thanks for visiting my blog and leaving your comments.
You are so right, we all can and have to do something against global warming - if everybody would do a little bit, the catastrophe could be stopped! We are trying to save energy in our household where it is possible, and I am now looking forward to see others' ideas.
I wish you happy Easter, kind regards, Monika

Fabulous idea! This is so important but one of the things we find too easy to put in the back of our mind in this busy busy world. I will give it some thought and let you know when I've posed my ideas.

My goodness, the face and hand are startling! We always try to be as green as possible, we try to waste nothing in the garden, use our own compost where possible and we are pesticide free. Ever little bit helps I hope!

Ewa, I think it's a great idea. I've been thinking about doing a post on an energy audit. I studied deep ecology in grad school. I must have something in there to draw from. And I was going to contact Franke James in Toronto, Canada who is attuned to all of this. I'd be happy to work with you. Kathryn

Ewa, I forgot to mention in my post of today that I'd written it for Gardener's Unite! Sorry, my mind is on other things (my mother) at the moment as I'm sure you'll understand. I've added to my post today that it is for GU with that wonderful pic of the hand!

Ewa, the post I wrote today is for Gardener's Unite! I forgot to mention that on my blog today but it is there now, together with that pic of the drowning hand. Sorry, I forgot to mention it before but at the moment I have other things (my mother) on my mind which I'm sure you will understand.

BTW have more people written for GU?
