We have real merry-go-round: winter! spring! winter! SPRING?? let's assume SPRING - even if the snow appears sometimes. Snow that we didn't have in the winter AT ALL.
Today I focus on tiny plants in my garden, but very charming. On the picture above: chionodoxa luciliae - bulb plant, once planted stays in the soil and blossoms beautifully every spring.
Primula dentata - graceful shape and round flower, that is to come on the picture.
Pulsatilla - cotton flowers are about to be open. Even before opening they look little unreal.
Pushkinia libanotica - not very popular, but so cheering in early spring garden. Once you plant the bulbs, they stay there and every year there is more flowers appearing.
Scilla sibirica - on the picture with pulmonaria - also blue, also from bulb and also dependable bloomer in early spring.

Lovely spring flowers. We are all sick of winter. Come on spring.
They are beauties! Blue is my favorite flower color.
So cheery! Much better than the snow! Today I will volunteer at our annual Gardenscape, as well as tomorrow, so I am looking forward to some green even if it inside!
Lovely photos...
Here's hoping spring is here to stay.

Had just a stroll through your garden. The tiny spring announcers are very charming.
ciao until next visit.
Great photos! I'm a fan of Pushikinia, although I don't have any in my garden I planted some at the cemetary where they've spread into a beautiful carpet.
Spring is so elusive this year - but your little darlings are beautiful - No buds in my garden yet, and it makes me sad.
Aha, I grow puschkinia too! I wonder why they aren't more popular? I love the clear blue stripes on the white flowers, or is it like a zebra; white stripes on a blue flower? Whatever the case, I won't be seeing mine for a month or more yet. Like you, I'm really tired of winter, but it's hanging around like odd socks or old fish.
These little beauties give us indeed a certain Spring feeling. Luckily we have Spring now, snow has gone two days ago and I am working in the garden :-) !
Have a sunny Spring weekend, Ewa!
Beautiful photos, beautiful flowers. My favourite is the picture of the primula :)
What a gorgeous blog site! I love all the colors, flowers... and the kitties are adorable. I just browsed through today and will be back for a more thorough visit soon. Amazing site.

Ewa, you've got plenty of lovely blooms in your garden already! How I wish I had some pulsatillas - I tried to sow some but the seds didn't germinate. But, I do have chionodoxa - a white variety, and they're just about to open.. ./Katarina
LOVELY!! and lots different then what are in my garden in Spring.
smiles, deena
What a wonderful Spring display :)
I've never met pushikinia! They are beautiful. Here too Spring is most elusive. We had hail and thunder yesterday. We never get thunder here. Today appears sunny and dry--is it a trick?
Lovely sign of Spring for you!!
Hope it stays warm and no more Snow!!
Here in Arizona my snow covered garden is just a memory!! So much blossoming in the desert!!
hugs NG
Great pictures. You have unique flowers. I can't find those flowers in my country.
Your cats is very cute.

It's wonderful to see someone who is as excited about Spring as I am! Thanks for mentioning chionodoxa and puschkinia- they are some of my favorites, and I always forget what they are! You take beautiful photos, too...
