Hydrangea heat.
I think this is it.
I love them!
I just bought another one Hydrangea paniculata Pinky Winky - its flowers are changing color to pink while fading...
Another one, that I would like to invite is Hydrangea aspera.
I saw it lately growing in another garden - it looks spectacular... what can I do...
Have a look by yourself...
It is not fully hardy here (zone 6), because zone 7 is used to be coldest for her, but you see... this pictures is taken 1 km away from me - so, it is possible to ensure the right conditions...
I am asking "Is it on the way?", because sometimes plants get their own way to your garden....

I love the delicate color of "pinky winky" Beautiful pictures to look at on a Sunday afternoon.
This is a new Hydrangea! I haven't seen it before and since I can only admire them can't say anything about them. Your photos are lovely and make me wish for better soil and weather!

How lovely to see a new Hydrangea! They are my favourite flowers along with Peony Roses & Stephanotis.
Millie ^_^
You have featured beautiful photos. The Hdrangea is gorgeous.

I, too, love hydrangeas, but I have only one variety, the "Endless Summer." Your paniculata is beautiful and one I've added to my wish list.
The aspera is a beauty, too; maybe you could grow it in a protected spot?
I've seen this hydrangea Pinky Winky on a few blogs lately - and it seems to be a most wonderful hydrangea! I wouldn't mind if it could find its way i nto my garden...

Hi, Ewa! I am a big fan of hydrangea also! I've never seen that pointy one before! I have one big one in a big pot, which I'm very fond of. And then I always buy them in the supermarkets and leave them inside for awhile. So I took FOUR of those (smaller ones) and put them in a big square ornate pot and they all live together now. Very pretty. I hope your hydrangea hears you calling and rings your bell! I bet it does!
They are so beautiful! I miss having hydrangeas. There were none in this garden and I haven't planted any yet. I do have a little Endless Summer hydrangea now that rooted itself from a branch on a friend's shrub that leaned into the soil. It's too small to put in the garden yet, so I'm holding it in a pot and watching it grow. It's only 6" tall, but it's already blooming!
I should cut off the flower to give strength to the growing plant, but it's too pretty and I don't have the heart to cut it off.
Hydrangea are such romantic flowers to me. I love the many varieties and can't pick just one favorite.
Cindy
I love your garden.... I feel I'm in paradise when I come here!
Ps: The House in the Roses is having a party…. Come and show us your favorite window this Friday! Come see!

If I were to purchase two hydrangeas, these would be "it." They aren't the average hydrangea, and they are very distinctive! Beautiful photos. :-)
What a beautiful way to start my mornings, walking through your garden!
Merci
Your hydrangea is breath-taking! I have not had luck growing them here. I keep adding things to my soil that they tell me to at the nursery, but I can't get any hydrangea to flourish. Any suggestions? I love the flowers in vases and baskets when they are dried too.
balisha,
yes, Pinky Winky flowers are very beautiful.
gail,
Both are not very popular, but beautiful and worth a place in the garden.
millie,
the set of plants you mentioned make wonderful blend.
aiyana,
nice to see that you also like it.
rose,
I think that I can find nice sheltered spot for aspera - I can see few nice specimens growing in Poland.
Katarina,
if you want, it will come :) this way or another
Kathryn,
I have also planted some in pots, but I had problem to keep the soil wet enough, so they were suffering and I planted them in the garden :)
Linda,
Cutting flowers while the plant is thriving is very difficult. Soon they will start to fade, then cut it :)
Cindy,
I share your feelings - I also can't really decide :)
Cielo,
Thanks for invitation - windows are my weak point, so it will be very challenging for me...
shady gardener,
if one wants distinctive plants, this could be the choice and subject of visitors wow's... :)
Shawn,
Morning walk in the garden is one of the best starts to the day :)
Victoria,
Have you checked pH of your soil? Hydrangea needs little acidic pH.
If yours is too high, you may grow them in large containers - it could look very ornamental :)
Thank you very much for taking your time and commenting,
Ewa
Those Hydrangea looks so lovely. They are eye candies. Pinks look so sweet.
Wow, I love hydrangeas and yours are beautiful.
Ahhh, this post is too lovely! I love your hydrangeas, and your garden is like walking in Paradise.... I'd love to feature it on my "Garden of the Month" blog.... would you be interested?
Hope you're having a great Friday--and by the way, I haven't seen you window pic yet.... hope you're coming to our party! :)
Have a lovely weeked, Ewa...
