That's nice. Do you know the variety of your pelargonium? I used to hang mine upside down on the back porch bare root in SC, and replant them in the spring. They almost always survived

Wow. I'm amazed that your last commenter hung these upside down bare roots exposed and could replant!
I have so much to learn about geraniums and pelargoniums and I love them! I finally have a blue perennial one and I get to see how that did, soon!
Exciting learning! Pretty flower!

very very beautiful - especially the single blossom photos. . . .

Geraniums, the hardy kind, can be left outdoors in your climate. You should see if your garden center has them, they are lovely.

Pelargoniums are not so hardy, but so beautiful. Growing from seed is quite the accomplishment!

Hi Ewa. We have hardy geraniums that stay in the ground all year round. They look a bit different than your pelargonium.

In the past, I have overwintered them as you do. But this last year, I tried a different method of overwintering. I blogged about it here. I guess I should blog about the results of this method, shouldn't I? Let's just say it was a grand success! :-)

Your photos with the light through the petals are gorgeous.
