Niszka in Sedum spurium

I just found this old picture taken when I still used to live in Warsaw. On the balcony I used to have a pot and growing Sedum spurium - its abundance - as you can see - not only me made happy. My cat Niszka (Neeshka) also loved it - her look on this picture is pretty... eee... absent - but she really loved to sleep there :)

Cats love to sleep in strangest places.
Our Max loves pansies and violets..
Just when I enjoy the flowers most he takes a nap on top of the flowers. This is a very lovely picture..one to keep..

Niszka is a beautiful cat. She has a beautiful bed in this picture too.

Lovely kitty cat and nice looking sedum. Both are favorites of mine.

What a sweet picture. I have a lot of that sedum growing outside, I hadn't thought of using it as a house plant. Good idea!

Ha! I love that picture! If one of our cats were in a plant like that, he would be digging in the dirt, and would be about to get into trouble!

Gisela,
that is very interesting behaviour of your cat :) jealousy?
I am looking forward to new opportunities next year. I have opened myself for changes :)

Lisa,
Niszka was a sweet, little strange cat - she was mixture between european cat and siamese.

Carol,
Sedum is perfect for containers - no need to worry they don't get enough water and also it is very showy after some time. That pot you can see on the picture collected lot of attention :) I loved it too. Now plant is in the garden, but I decided to go back to grow it also in containers :)

Rurality,
Normally she was not allowed to get on plants or to play with soil, but in this case when I spotted here sleeping there first it was too late, second she looked so funny, that I was rather laughing than angry. Also she was living only in the appartment with us, without going out and it was the major spot with soil, so I let her do it :)

Happy New Year to everyone!

LOL! Great photo, Ewa. It always surprises me that cats can be soooo fussy and then find the oddest places to sleep :-) Happy new year to you :-)

What a lovely picture... and based on what I know of the sedum, what a tiny kitty she must have been. :)

Thank you for visiting - yes, it is always surprising to see what disturbs them and what is loved :)

Tit,
Welcome to 'ewa in the garden'! I have moved 3,5 years ago to a little town located 25 km south-west of Warsaw and enjoy living with garden. My garden is young and slowly I get the feeling that it is 'the garden':)
